The scenario of using "Width and Height" in the export dialog is the ONLY time that "resolution" affects file dimensions in Export as far as I can tell. If you look at the dialog setting, the "H:" and "W:" numbers are always INCHES in both examples but the "Resolution" changes from INCH to CM, hence the 2.54 difference factor. If you just hand calculate the numbers for my example on the HEIGHT side, the dimensions of the exported files are correct. I never use this method but was just acknowledging ALANAMOUS's change is file size post as I knew this would happen. To make the file dimension change you MUST leave the one part of the dialog as INCHES even though you change the other from INCHES to CMs. Lr is just doing the math for you and doing it CORRECTLY!!!
