With good quality IP camera's now below $200.00 Many of you may now want to add a "live" or almost "live" (jpg) view of something. I have just bought the new D-Link DCS2330L camera. It has 1280x720 resolution, night vision etc.
This camera has tons of features, including uploading - jpegs via ftp to your server. I've done this part, all is well. It sends jpgs to a folder i've called [ dlink-webcam ] I can see them there in the folder.
Now what I would like to do is similar to what I've done with another webcam. HOWEVER this (old) camera just sends jpegs with the same file name, all the time. In one of my Muse sites, I've just added few lines of code to refresh this image every 10 seconds. This has been working perfectly fine for 6 years now. Here is the link.

Now the problem with the NEW DLINK camera. Each image has a unique jpg file tag. Basically its the "time-stamp". So my question is > how do I create some code that will display the latest jpg file in the [ dlink-webcam ] folder???
eg: wc1409017183_4595.jpg
I have not been able to communicate with D-link about turning off this "feature". No ones around. Customer support, just above zero.
Any assistance would be most welcome. I believe this would also be of great help to other MUSE designers in the future.
Thanks
