Hi everyone
John from London here, I've got a strange issue with PDF's when printing. A user has combined various PDF's into one bigger document, this isn't something new for her, she's been doing it for months with no issue.
She came to me with the document she printed which looked exactly like it does in the image I've attached below - it's a 44 page document and this affects various pages throughout, it's sometimes the same ones and sometimes others...so a pattern isn't clear. The thing is, it can be replicated when printing to an XPS document, so must be something to do with either the reader or our systems and not the printer (did consider print drivers etc, but again...they're uniform throughout the company).
We use Xen desktop, it's a same-across-the-board virtual desktop that all users connect to (it boots through iGel). Adobe Reader 10.1.4 is used by everybody, for editing PDF's we use PDF converter enterprise 7.2, again this is across the board. We've not had any other complaints from users, so it just seems to be limited to her at the moment! (Hopefully it'll stay that way as well)
She's doing nothing out of the ordinary when combining PDF's, it's just a case of importing PDF's she has and exporting it as a bigger one.
When printing to XPS, I've tried a few combinations:
Size Options: Tried, Fit, Actual Size, Shrink OVersized pages and tried all these with and without 'choose paper source by PDF page size'
Tried all the orientation options as well.
Bit stumped, any ideas?
