That's not the way it works. I just tested in an old copy of CS5 & the behavior of the strokes on an object are correct. I fully understand that InDesign & Illustrator are not the same. I've been using these programs since before the Creative Suite days. I'm trying to point out what I believe to be is a bug not argue that this is "the way it should be".
