Same exact error as without checking the "Print to File" checkbox. It defaults the name of the file to <name>.PRN - but then the standard Windows error message about default printer, network error, etc. is displayed before any file can be created or any file can be printed.
I also checked for database corruption by creating a new MS Access database and importing all objects from the database into the new structure. Then tried running the report and found the same error. Evidently it's not a corrupt DB unless the corruption is within one of the objects itself and isn't manifesting by a recompilation of the database.
Unless there are any other suggestions not sure this is worth chasing. I'm able to print the report to an .XML file and then upload to a website that will convert the .XML file to a .PDF. Cumbersome - but I've found it's sometimes easier to work around Adobe quirks than to spend a lot of time trying to find out why. Thanks for your help Bill@VT...
