The standard CS6 Master suite is now null and void in the eyes of Adobe, which means those of us that are still trying to use it are out of a lot of money. If you still use the standard version instead of the Creative Cloud (CC) then tech support, other than community forums, have been cut off. Trying to launch CS6 from a disk or trial download now leads to a pop-up that has a link to a page declaring the Support Advisor has been discontinued [Adobe - Adobe Support Advisor]. This in turn leads to more options on the site that you can buy at great cost, and further help for you just leads back to the forums. Calling the tech support phone number is another dead end [1 (800) 833-6687]. There is a person to answer questions about CC, but press the button for the standard version and you are told that "there is no tech support available-- this call will be disconnected."
I'm sure CC is a great program, but I spent $2,300 for the other and it is now obsolete. Trying to install it onto a second computer can not be done. Others have spent much more money, from $3,000 to upwards of $6,000. Adobe has shown little to no concern for past customers, focusing only the new for $50 a month... forever. There has been no sign of a refund from older products. Just try getting in touch with them without going in circles!
I have contacted three Law Firms and each have shown an interest. If you are interested in joining a possible law suit then please send me your email address. If you know of a better way to handle Adobe's contempt for older versions of software, that information would also be helpful.
