I've noticed with the last release of Illustrator CC that the panels have become context sensitive, and I hate it. I love the top bar (don't remember the name of it) being context sensitive, and use that all the time, but if I've got the swatches panel open and decide to rotate an object a bit, I don't want the whole transform panel to pop up (whether I've got it docked or not), and have to re-select the swatches panel before I can go on. If the transform panel is not docked, it pops up in front of everything in the last position it was in before I closed it, taking up screen real estate and being a huge nuisance. I've searched all the options I can think of, and don't see how to make this stop.
