Hi All,
I'm creating a template for work in which I can place various clients' artwork onto various base products (shirts, bags, etc.) and setting it up so that the artwork will automatically conform to the perspective of the product at hand once pasted in. I think I've got it mostly figured out, but I ran across a couple matters in the process that could help me streamline the process even further if there are solutions to them. Couldn't find much regarding the issues, so thought I'd ask you guys here.
1) Is there any way to apply effects to a linked file? I've seen some Adobe resources that seem to point to "no" and others that seem to point to "yes". Is it a version-to-version thing? I'm on CS5.1 here.
2) Is there a way (aside from using symbols) to link to an object within the same document, so that if I make a change to the original object, it is reflected in the "linked copies"? I'm just trying to see if I can keep as much of the work as possible localized to one self-sufficient file.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
